WRAL reports that RBC Bank has opened its new building in downtown Raleigh. However, they made a last-minute change to the planned grand-opening celebration:

The Red Bull Air Force daredevil team planned a parachute jump from the building to celebrate the tower’s grand opening. Citing the possibility of poor symbolism, however, bank officials decided to cancel the jump.

That’s right, the original event was to include people jumping from a bank skyscraper. Apparently they decided that, in the current climate, that didn’t sent the right message.
