Feds OK new license for NJ nuclear power plant:

Federal regulators have agreed to extend the license of the nation’s oldest nuclear power plant to 2029. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission voted 3-1 on Wednesday to grant a new license to the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station in Lacey Township, N.J.

Oyster Creek’s design – a boiling water reactor – is considered obsolete by today’s standards.

Okay, let’s replace it with a new one.
