At some point, “actionable” must have become some kinda buzzword so that it has entered into the nega-vocabulary and assumed some ghastly alter-meaning similar to the fate that befell “leverage” and “beta testing”.

Also, there’s even a wordpress plugin call “Actionable” (in which context probably means “likely to get you told to cease & desist”), which describes itself thusly:

Actionable allows the creation of a categroized list of action items for users to check off and track.

“Categroized” is a rather inherently funny word. I hope to see it on next year’s round of buzzword bingo cards.
